Oromia Region Delivers 950 Agricultural Tractors To Farmers And Youth Organized

The tractors are assembled by the kegna Agricultural Equipment Manufacturing and Assembly Company in Shashmene.
Of the 950 tractors presented, 172 were for youth organized by the association and the rest were for farmers.
In four rounds, including today, 1687 farm tractors and 80 harvesters have been assembled.

The modern farming equipment is being provided to farmers and youth by saving 30 to 40 percent by linking the rest to the bank.
Oromia Regional State Chief of Staff Shemelse Abdissa Other federal and state government officials, including Agriculture Minister Omar Hussein, were present.
The handover program is currently underway.
